We are thrilled to announce that we’ve signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Metap Inc, the creators of the popular Online game GensoKishi. The MOU outlines our commitment to working together to grow the web3 gaming space and increase adoption in Japan and beyond.

On GENSOKISHI

GensoKishi started as a web2 game and has accumulated more than 8 million users. Recently, the role-playing game migrated to web3, now offering NFT collectibles, immersive metaverse environments, and play-to-earn components to reward their active user base. The game features various modes to appeal to a wide range of interests.

Highlights from the MOU

The MOU highlights our shared ambitions and our intent to work together to deploy GensoKishi on Astar zkEVM and, more broadly, increase the interest in web3 gaming. To that aim, we’ll collaborate on hosting events, creating attractive marketing campaigns and in-game assets, as well as integrating and launching the game itself on Astars’ Ethereum L2.
