Yoki Origins Achievements
Yoki Origins has been a pivotal initiative for Astar zkEVM, marking our first foray into building a service atop our infrastructure. From inception to execution, we've embarked on a journey of creation, collaborating closely with Japanese creators and illustrators to craft everything from scratch.
Technically, we've achieved significant milestones, developing logic that facilitates the minting of NFTs for multiple ecosystem projects alongside our in-campaign "OMA'' token. Moreover, we've enabled the purchase of NFTs (playing YoPorts) via credit card and introduced an on-ramp feature for Astar zkEVM, all available on our mobile version as well. This hands-on experience in building from the ground up not only enriches our understanding of infrastructure needs but also positions us for long-term success in delivering services that resonate with users.
While our campaign has encountered challenges, such as the temporary closure of some YoPorts due to on-chain quest verification issues, it has underscored the importance of closer collaboration with our infrastructure partners. We're diligently working to ensure seamless functionality across all on-chain features, striving to enhance the robustness of our underlying tech stack in preparation for the exciting developments ahead on Astar.
Yoki Origins serves as a catalyst for refining our infrastructure and gearing up for the promising future of Astar.
End of Campaign
As our campaign draws to a close on May 31st, existing YoPorts will be phased out, and the option to mint NFTs will no longer be available. Be sure to visit our website before this date to secure any project NFTs or acquire Yoki before they're no longer accessible.
Additionally, our team is deliberating whether to make certain features public by open-sourcing the website. Once a decision is reached, we'll announce it via our X Ecosystem Account. Stay tuned for updates!
